Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility

Key NESI personnel provided the project management and technical support services for this decommissioning project involving a facility that operated under NRC license (10CFR70) from 1966 to 1975 for the manufacture of enriched and mixed oxide reactor fuels for both the commercial and government nuclear industry. Personnel provided decommissioning project management services and maintained an office and laboratory in Oklahoma at the project site. Project Management for this facility included all aspects of decommissioning operations necessary for license termination and release for unrestricted use.
